Access to the official Volvo parts and documentation systems
 

Hi all,

Do you know if it's possible to access the system or at least copies of the official pages that the main dealers use for part numbers, diagram explosions and wiring diagrams etc?

I don't mind paying, nor do I mind if it's online only, download or even media based (CD, USB etc).

I also don't mind if it's specific to my model or even VIN number for that matter.

I used to have a copy of a similar program for my VW Golf and it was a godsend, so having one for this car would be fantastic.

You will need to Download Volvo's VIDA software 2014D for free. You tube has tutorials on it.

One quick question you may know the answer to, does 2014D cover vehicles from 2014 onwards as well then as mine is a 65 plate, so MY16. Just want to ensure they didn't crack down on it after 2014 . . . ?

It covers 2015 model year but not 2016

I think there's software available for the newer cars. I think its called VDASH, but you'd be best checking with cheshired5.

Out of interest, have any of you got access to VIDA?

It's a bit of an odd request, but I'm after an image of the exploded diagram of the drivers side sun visor light fitting unit to see how it fits into place. Long story . . . :teeth_smile:

Correct, but according to the web the sun visors were the same from 2011-2018 so the diagram for MY15 (early or late) should still apply to my MY16.

Happy to be proven wrong on that if anybody can disprove :thumbs_up:

If anybody does have access to VIDA and could post an image from a MY15 that would be greatly appreciated . . .
