Hi there,
I'm interested. I sent a PM but I'm not sure if it went through. I am available on daveoleary111@gmail.com if you wouldn't mind. Regards |
Did you see how fast that white one in Scotland sold recently? It was a very tidy early one priced too low at about £5,000. It sold immediately.
There was a full restoration project for sale down here in Devon at £1,500. I mean, full restoration project. It was for sale for about a week. As well, Nigel Case in London - he runs Classic Car Club and adores Volvos - he had a very nice example in green, probably similar condition to this one. That one caused some comments on this here forum when it was up for sale at £11,000, but guess what?! It sold for very near that figure! I have to say it: name me another practical classic that can offer what this car has? Amazon estate far more valuable nowadays. Citroen Safari the same as is a Peugeot 504. Then you have less attractive newer stuff like Granada, Mercedes 123 and so on. I'd be getting some very well done photos and a carefully worded advert with a price tag of £10,000 |
You could be right. My gut feeling is that it has a selling price of around £7000, although these cars will rise as time passes by, i'm sure. So whatever the price, it shouldn't lose over time. I will be in a more serious position after the Bruntingthorpe event

Can't wait to meet you! As well as meet loads of folk I've only ever met on this here forum!
I guess I won't miss you in your very yellow car there |

If I don’t manage to get the car ready for the event, I will be in my red Volvo 850 Diesel
It is quite a rare beast as well! |
Wow cant believe I’m seeing the old girl again, awesome car, drove it to Sweden, I fitted the overdrive about 18 years ago!, would love to buy her back as I’ve regretted it ever since!, Mrs said the P1800 would have to go tho 😔

Hi there. Yes I have spoke to you before, around 8 or 9 years ago I believe. I think I have a copy of that photo somewhere, and one or two others
I have managed to keep it dry stored all these years, which has helped keep it in the condition it is in now. I think you aught to keep the p1800. I sold my p1800 in 2011 for £7500. It will be worth around £15000 now. If you really are interested in the old girl I would consider my lowest price for you! Hopefully I will get it to this Volvo meet at the end of the month! Nice to hear from you again. |
Yeah your probably right!, hopefully we’re bump into each other at the 600, I’ll be a white P1800e with a blue 940 along side
