Car don’t connect to internet

I have a 2016 V70 D4 with the Sensus connect infotainment. I use my phone to share internet to get eg. traffic info, listen to internet radio and so on. This has worked fine until yesterday. Now, it connect to my phone for calling, but It won’t get internet access through bluetooth or wifi. I have also tried to connect to my wifi in the house. All I get is a little yellow arrow spinning around in the top corner of the screen. What to do? Is there something I can do to reset the internal modem or so?

Hi, that might have something to do with your phone. Check if the phone’s hotspot function is active. This has to be active for your phone to share it’s internet connection. Hope that helps.

I've always found the internet connection iffy in my 2015 XC70 SE Lux with Sensus.
Sometimes it tethers fine using Wi-Fi, some times it will only connect using Bluetooth and other times it doesn't connect at all.
What is frustrating is having to re-enter the Wi-Fi password everytime.
TBH only ever use it to play the internet radio when the DAB reception is iffy.
