2003 v40. CEM location
 

I have a 2003 V40 and driver side low beam is not working. Bulb, fuse are ok.

While searching this forum , i noticed similar (if not same) issue all pointing to the CEM being faulty. I would like to know the location of this CEM and how to take it out.

Under the dashboard, right hand side. The bottom of the dashboard is quite easy to remove, just a few 10mm bolts. Once removed, it is easy to see. It's a grey box, about 6"x4", and is simply retained by plastic tongues. At least, that's where it is on a 1999 model.
