I'm at the same stage as you Faffi, two goes at loading the new software, and the adaption carry-on, but no positive results. In fact, now that the weather is colder, trying to control the revs in 1st and 2nd gear before the engine warms up is nigh on impossible.
I've been very busy lately, and doing mainly long runs which are not so bad since once the car is up into 3rd its ok, but after the new year I'll have to take it back again to the dealer.
Don't know how this saga will end, but it looks like the S40/V50 is due for the chop soon, I just wish it had happened last year!
