Indeed, I have been wild camping for over 40 years. But I am retired myself now and feel I deserve an upgrade, even though it means parting with a good, viable vehicle. At least I can sleep comfortably in my current estate when the weather is foul; I can't in the Volvo. My estate will probably fall apart long before the Volvo would and so it's been a difficult choice to decide to let the Volvo go, but a saloon just does not suit my needs.
