Springs and things
I have a 440 CD Turbo, and I have just purchased a 40mm lowering kit for it. Basically, its too low! And its far too hard, I would actually like a set of standard height springs, but uprated about 15 to 20 %. Does anybody know of any, or where to get them? My beasty is a 95 model and it already has stiffer suspension than the earlier cars, but unfortunately Volvo make the springs soft and the shocks hard. I suppose one way around it would be to use the earlier shocks, but I have just fitted new Bilstiens at the front and Boge at the rear. Has anybody tried fitting new springs? Is it possible that a new set would make a big difference? Any feedback would be appreciated.
