You dont have to remove headlamp .if its drivers side remove ecu cover outer case you gain more room . on passenger side remove air filter ive done both a few times .I read it on here plus local volvo dealer showed me when i bought bulb from them mine was o5 i think o6 is same when you remove ecu outer cover ecu remains pluged in.Hope that helps
