Default 1998 V70 LPG fault

I'm Looking at a 1998 V70, in replacement to my 940... The fuel prices are killing me!
I test drove the car today, but the LPG system wouldn't switch over, The switch just sat there and beeped, Put a tenners worth of gas in, and still nothing happened, the manual gauge on the tank is showing 3/4.
I have had a bit of experience with carburetion systems (my dads 940 is gassed) but none with sequential.
The solenoid in the boot clicks, and after that nothing, It switches back to petrol and begins beeping, All 4 LEDS flash on the switch, with the Petrol LED remaining on.
When the solenoid clicks, there's the distinctive 'switchover judder' when the revs fall. Apart from that I don't know, I wanted to find out the type of LPG system, but as the conversion was carried out by Volvo 'Apparently'. I could find no immediate control units. Its one of the best installations Ive seen. So I'm sorry I couldn't give any more info, I'm sure the guy didn't want me pulling apart the dash. Does anyone know anything that might be wrong that's an easy fix? The guy is asking silly money for it and I'm sure it'll sell soon.
/Edit
Its a Dream xxi-ng System, and I have found a few split vacuum hoses, One going to a pressure switch (it says it on the box) and the other is a vacuum pipe going to somewhere in the void, Cannot find a home for it anywhere, It had a 3 way t piece on it.
