The actual units have to be rated for HIDs for them to be legal, the V40 did have HIDs as an option so it is possible to have HIDs on our cars, MOT requirements changed as of the beginning of this year.

I have factory fitted HID's.....and a winter pack.....and a family pack.
I think my car must have been a demonstrator?
