I've had my 2009 2.4 v70 for a month now and love it - far more comfortable than my v50
The v50 would pretty much do 47 mpg no matter what. The v70 is doing 37. My driving is all A and B roads with virtually no dual carriage or motorway.
I'll probably get it chipped for some more overtaking ability and hopefully gain some more mpg when driving 'normally'
