On the fuel consumption topic, I've now done 53k miles. Last tank on a brim to brim measure (took 69 litres) gave me 743 miles. I just did a 230 mile motorway trip, car empty, apart from me, tyre pressures on 225/50/17s at 32psi all round and it gave me an indicated mpg of 54.6 with cruise control set at 73 mph.
Not true , The "new" D3 is an even lower power version of our volvo 2 litre 5 cylinder diesel .. ( about 135 bhp i think ) but still has torque .
the 4 cylinder ford unit was dropped a couple of years ago by volvo .
