EML - starting problem
Guys, is there anyone in the Stevenage area who has the ability to obtain the codes from the Engine management system.
I noticed that when I started up the car to drive a short journey to the next village the car stared with a kick, but the ran fine. We drove the 5 mile or so to the location and parked up for ten minutes. Then when I came to start the car it kicked, much the same way as it would if the battery was flat and the starter didn't have enough juice to turn over, but the battery is fine and once the car was started it ran fine (all be it with the EML on). We took a careful journey back home, but the light still remains on, when the car is started.
The car is a 1999 V70 on an S plate. 2.5l 10 valve, with around 120K on the clock.
Any hints and tips would be helpful, but without the codes I won't know if it's a small cheap fix or a costly one
