its quite easy apart from the metal brackets are no longer available from volvo you need to jack up the rear remove both wheels and drill out the wheel arch rivits
then you need to lower the exhaust to get to the bolts 14mm is the size 1 either side
then pull it backwards you need two people to refit it to make life easy
did mine today in about an hour and half but needed to take off and on again
