I'd recommend you find a 940 with an m90, and go to the extra trouble of fitting that. The m46 and m47 boxes don't have the best reputation and the m90 is much better and a lot stronger.
Also, don't discount the b230fk engine, the low pressure turbo version, as it's the same as the B230ft except for running lower boost and having a non-adjustable wastegate rod.
