See when you are loosing water are you pushing the car, like accelerating hard and revving high through the gears?.... Mine is exactly the same. It seems to be worse if I'm in a naughty mood and boosting away from traffic lights or sinking the boot a lot. I went from Glasgow to Lockerbie and back yesterday and the car didn't use a drop of water but that was sitting on the motorway at 65/70 all the way on cruise cont.

I've had it into the garage and they say its fine, there is no water in the inside of my car and the windows don't mist up at all but it does use water. I have recently bought a header tank cap new from the main stealer as I have heard this can be part of the issue but its been to no avail.

I also have a real bad smell when the heater/fan is on to the point I don't use it now. I'm thinking it may be the matrix but my floors are not wet at all.
