I have a 1989 240GLT Automatic and unfortunately had to use the services of the RAC. The car started vibrating in drive and reverse and the diagnosis is the prop centre bearing has had it as the rubber has started to fall apart. Got it towed to a garage and will await their quote to repair tomorrow! Car has done 207,579 miles and until know been totally reliable. These minor things are wear and tear items and looking forward to getting him back.
What would you think would be a fair price for parts and labour?
Can't fault the services of the RAC, and even took me the 5 miles home. Well worth the £39 that I paid every year through my insurance!
