From the sounds of it your awd is definitely not working. Try checking for codes in the dem by holding down the reset button on the indicator stalk and pressing the rear fog light switch twice. If it says dtcs in vehicle in the dim keep pressing the reset button to scroll through each module to see which have codes stored. If it says dem dtc set it could be the oil/ pressure sensor a common failure. Hope its not the sleeve on the angle gear. Yes the circuit that controls the sunroof is linked with the alarm siren.
