In case any others want to change the windscreen wiper relay to make it a variable delay.
I have just done mine on 1997 V70 T5
I think it will fit most though.

It is easy to change. Its the big red one marked 203 under dash.
At the top second from the right.
Very handy in this weather.
Timed delay is set from time you turn off to time you turn on again.
My delay can be set from 1 second to about 25 seconds.
Variable intermittant wiper relay
Change the time bewteen intermittant wipes with this straight swap wiper relay. To set the wipe interval: 1. Turn on intermittant then turn off straight away. 2. Turn back on and wait for the desired wipe interval 3. Turn off and back on again. That sets the time for the wipe interval. Set the interval to what ever period is required! Available to fit just about every VW / Audi that doesn't have variable intermittant wipers! If your wiper relay pin arrangement is the same as the picture, it will fit your car!
