Hi all, first time poster and Volvo owner.
I recently bought my P-plate 850 T5 CD and I think I may have the PCV blockage that seems to be common on these engines.
I get the smoke coming out the oil dipstick when the engine is running.
However, I did a search on here for PCV and nothing came up??
Not sure if the search term is too short or something but it doesn't return any errors, just says no results.
Anyway, what's the quickest/easiest/cheapest way to get this issue resolved?
I have absolutely no tools or space to work on the car so I'll need to get it done at a garage. What's the going rate for this kind of work and can any garage do it or is it worth taking it to a Volvo (independent?) specialist?
Can anyone recommend a reputable place near Twickenham?
