Default 740 facelift H reg D24Tic diesel estate

Is anybody interested in a 152k turbodiesel 740 estate??? It has run out of MOT. Dark grey metallic

Top end rebuild done by me some years ago and sold on, recently the pump belt snapped, followed by the camshaft. these have both been replaced but it smokes a little as the timing isn't correct (he didn't have the tools to do it). He rang me saying that there was a water leak at the back of the engine...... but it is actually diesel leaking out of the pump onto the belt which will probably be why the belt snapped in the first place.

Still starts and runs ok, car is pretty straight.... it had a new timing belt/water pump etc when I did the engine at about 125k.

Probably not a good idea to drive far as I have no idea how long the belt will last with diesel dripping on it.

Either a fixer if your d24 is crap but has a good pump, or if you need a good engine/bits then break this one....

No mot. It is probably worth a few hundred quid but needs to be gone by the end of Saturday or it will probably get crushed.
