Ok so some have cleaned up components or rebuilt rear calipers?
The thing is that the seal under the plate is there to keep crap out
and the o ring at the other end of the actuating shaft is there to keep brake fluid in

The same applies to brake piston boots and steering rack boots and other boots and the boots on your feet

The OP calipers, BOTH OF THEM require a complete rebuild

Windscale obviously has a lot to answer for
