Hello,

I have a S reg 2.0l V40 estate with a 'broken' rear fog lamp.

I'm a novice when it comes to car work but I have worked through changing the bulb and looking at the fuses/relays by the pedals and under the bonnet - although I didn't seem to find a specific fuse for the rear fogs any fuses/relays to do with lamps and fogs seem to be fine.

I have done some reading on here and all the other lights seem to work and I have the headlamps switched on to the correct position. When I press the fog light button I hear a click but nothing comes on the dash.

I read about taking out the instrument panel (the OP had no click then) however, I don't want to attempt this if I don't need to as I'm not very confident with it.

Short of tracing through all the wiring, is there anything else anyone could suggest for me?
