A local autobox specialist I took mine to initially for his opinions said my '99 had a 5 speed box and that I was wrong saying 4 speed.
'Done several V70's - they're all 5 speed'.
Needless to say this numpty's opinions didn't count for that much afterwards.
Dex 3 OK for 4 speed as noted in my 1999 V70 OEM drivers handbook.
Specialist told me I'd been using the wrong ATF.
Maybe he thought I was a numpty and would take his 'expert' opinion as gospel, give him the job and pay him the £800 quoted just for removing and refitting the box plus whatever extra considerable costs for working on it.
