CP1790 - you probably already know this, but in regards to the gauge not working any more, the copper looking regulator behind the temp and gas gauges is a finicky one.. you might try replacing it once u get the in tank sorted if its still not working. took me 3 of them to find a good one.. also took a few tanks of fuel to set it straight. Is it working but showing 1/4 tank lower than the truth? or is it lodged in a static position?
