I understand bl**dy big lumps of metal held together with bl**dy big nuts and bolts and know when something is broken or not right, but, I struggle with computer technology. I think it is something to do with not being able to see what is going on in the background and understanding the process. It may also stem from the fact I was given a spanner as a teething ring.

I have promised to do a 'How to guide' for stripping a seat and refurbishing it but am waiting for my son to come home at Christmas to show me how to do the guide, he works in IT and telephony for a Footsie 100 company. At the moment I would not have a clue how to do it as I have never been shown, but, am willing to learn.

I saw the OP as being helpful and pointing anyone genuinely interested in the right direction.
