V40 D2 engine - what is it?
Problem, as always, is where the torque is on these engines and how many revs are needed to get the advertised bhp!
My previous 04 s60 d5 was a lovely engine. Plenty of torque, no excessive gear changing etc. My present V40 D2 may have sufficient bhp but has to be worked hard leading to a somewhat less relaxing drive.
Will the new D5 be a 5 cylinder again or just another Volvo confusion with names?
