Nice looking car!
Is there any movement in the bumper? If it is anything like the front version, it is held in place by a series of plastic clips and it looks like these may not be fully clipped home. Perhaps something (wiring, perhaps?) has been caught between the plastic and the metal when the bumper has been put back on at some point. If there is movement at all in it, I would gently push it to see if it will click back in place.
I've had the front bumper off a couple of times, without doing the whole front end removal bit and it clips back with a decent jolt from the knee.
I'm sure other more expert will be along in a while to give you a more correct answer!
