If the condition of the car bodywork is good and rust is little, it might be worth getting the cambelt and turbo done by a independent garage. Should be under £500 at a guess. Cheaper if a turbo cartridge is available for this engine and the turbo housing isn't scored or damaged.
A Fleabay turbo cartridge might be half the price of a new far Eastern turbo (About 300 quid plus), BUT if it is not balanced and a good fitting kit used, they don't last long if you have a big right boot. They also use cheap oil seals that can split and cause a turbo runaway. If that happens, DO NOT TURN OFF THE IGNITION UNTIL PARKED SAFELY, it will make no real difference as the engine runs on oil. Just jam into a high gear and stall it ASAP, then switch off.
