Checking TV reception and TV receiver
Fault-tracing information

Digital TV-receiver (DVB-T) is an extra option that receives the digital TV-channels, converts them and transmits them on to rear seat entertainment module (RSE). For the TV-receiver to be able to receive transmitted channels, two antennas are connected to the receiver. The TV receiver is operated by the remote control via the rear seat entertainment module (RSE).

No TV-picture is shown or no TV-sound is heard.
No power supply or ground to TV receiver.
Damaged TV receiver fuse.
Damaged cables for audio and video signals between the rear seat entertainment module (RSE) and the TV receiver.

Damaged wake-up signal cables between the rear seat entertainment module (RSE) and TV receiver.

The rear seat entertainment module (RSE) is not programmed for a TV receiver.

TV picture appears, but quality is poor.
Weak or distorted antenna signal.
Damaged cables between the TV receiver and the antennas.
Damaged antennas.

Not possible to change channels with the remote control.
Damaged cables for remote control's IR signals between the rear seat entertainment module (RSE) and the TV receiver.

TV channels deleted.
Switch on the TV receiver is in the wrong position.

Message about software update is shown.
Switch on the TV receiver is in the wrong position.

Note! In order for TV-channels to be shown in the system for rear seat entertainment, the system for rear seat entertainment must be on and in other respects work trouble-free.
