I’ve tried a tuning box on an Insignia once but total power loss in the outside lane of the motorway got boring quickly.
I wasn’t meant to be keeping the car long but it was very sluggish and needed help. I actually thought the tuning box was ok until it started going into limp all the time. Ended up getting it mapped and it was very different and gained 70 extra miles per tank of fuel. Not that the economy was any good, just the tuning box was that terrible.
Take a look at this - stumbled across this video. I’d never heard of the company until then.
