Just to confuse matters it is possible on late models they may have changed to 711 Bright Silver.
The only sure way is to remove the trim from the car and check the sticker on the back. The rear bumper trim is probably easiest as it is held with 4 screws and clips in.

I fitted the 12V boot socket myself this weekend.
There is a Volvo accessory kit available but this includes a wiring loom that isn't necessary for the V70/XC70. Instead I found a 2nd hand one on eBay for a £13.
Using a 27mm hole saw cut out a hole in the side panel and file out a notch to fit. The power cable was tucked behind the side panel but finally located.
Probably took 30 mins which was helped by not having to dismantle the interior of the car to remove the panel as per the Volvo instructions.
