OK an update.

I have received a quote from my small local garage for replacing both belts plus all the tensioners.

At £588 it is £80 MORE than Volvo want.

It appears that I can buy the 2 new belt kits and tensioners from my local motor factors for £126 (Gates kit) The Hours quoted from local garage suggest a 2.5 hours labour at £40 plus vat so I arrive at a figure of approx £250 for the job? not sure where the extra £338 comes from????

I think I will do it myself - someone has suggested that CHesterd5 has done a video for this, but I can't find it here.

CAn someone point me to a link somewhere I can find a how to instruction or better still video.
