Windscreen replacement options
Has anyone managed to successfully have their v90 windscreen replaced by the likes of autoglass. I have a heated windscreen. Just got a massive star shaped chip from an oncoming car on a recently resurfaced road. I am very cross, firstly with the other speeding driver, but also that in this day and age a roads are still resurfaced by hosing down with tar and throwing loose chippings on it. But that's another story.
Am i likely to have hassles? My insurer, LV, likes to use autoglass. I cannot imagine them being able to recalibrate all the systems needed, but I am prepared to be amazed...
