I remember some years ago when I was 15/16 and working with an ex RN navy engineering guy there was one of the first 2 part metallic 'chemical' (as they called it in those days) filler that we used on an outboard motor 'blown' plug thread. It might have killed us in mixing it but it did work ,,, for a short time!! Bob
