Auto has an oil cooler both sides (one for the engine oil and one for the autobox oil) and a manual has an oil cooler on only one side.
I think you can use an auto one in a manual, just leave the blanking plugs in the autobox oil cooler part - hence some suppliers saying it's universal.
Beware ordering from AutoDoc - there's a thread on here somewhere with somebody saying they have had nightmares with their carp service......
