I've had to change the sensors on both rears, one side twice. Every time it is not the side face of the sensor that faces the inductor wheel that is worn, but the lower face that gets a groove worn in it by rust build up on the driveshaft just under the sensor. There's always loads of rust on the driveshaft just under the sensor- I try to remove most of the rust each time. It's either rust on the driveshaft or debris/stones occasionally getting in there. 3 sensors with the exact same wear. I never go off road.
I'll check out the sensors first as that's easy.
Its a bit coincidental that I get the BCM 0136 at the exact same time as the ABS codes so I think I'll check a common wiring point- perhaps the DEM connector. Anybody any other ideas?
