Belated welcome from me. This is a great forum and the most active and informative of the four car clubs I am in. Somebody will always have the answer - eventually.
Also, don't worry about "dumb" questions. Most of us are grateful when they are asked so we can learn to!
Congratulations on picking one of the best designed and built cars around in my opinion. After 25 years of driving 740s / 940s and only breaking down once (duff battery) my Volvo driving days are probably coming to an end (another story) but I hope you enjoy yours.
