...if the head bolts may be used 5 times: it strikes me that even if one does not know the history of a motor, the chances of the head having been off and re-fitted more than a couple during its life would be infinitesimally small, even if the car has covered 300.000 miles. I'd feel absolutely safe re-using the bolts another time (or two).
