Ordered new filter for my '96 850, delivered today. Went out to take the car for a warm-up and found n/s side light not working. Replaced bulb, success. There should be a wire pull attached to a plastic lug on the fuel flap lock servo which you reach by removing the the O/S rear light cluster cover, pulling the loop towards the rear light cluster unlocks the fuel flap.
I think the metal pull was discontinued in the first of the V70s and certainly isn't fitted in the P2's - mmy V70 has a home-fitted nylon strimmer line as a pull.
