Evening,


Was on my commute tonight and started to hear clunking noises from the back of the car. Stopped right away and saw that on the near side the support plate has failed. Will order the parts tomorrow and replace next week


Just wanted to ask if anyone has had this before and what would the reason be, apart from normal wear; I am aware the part has almost 10 years now, and the car's been driven 122k miles, but just want to make sure there are no underlying issues that might cause this to fail?
