I've done it with a hair-drier set to hot before, in previous cars, but I'm guessing it's still best to take those caps off anyway so that's only really a time-saving tip I suppose

I also saw that thing about goretex, I was planning on that mod myself if I start getting the issue on this car, its sounds like a really neat Macgyver kind of solution
