from what you say it sound like the 2 roof capture hooks are closed. to the engaged position the roof cannot sit down the hooks need to be open so they can pull the roof into the screen top and send the signal to the windows to raise complete the closure and send the message to the info screen these catches can be operates manualy see th youtube vid on how to operate the roof by hand it takes 3 persons to do this..
