Smile Interior cabin light

For some time now when I have the rockers switched on towards the rear position, so that the lights come on automatically when you open the doors and go out when you start the engine (or is it go out when the ignition goes on, can't remember!), the big light in the middle doesn't come on unless I apply a bit of extra pressure to the rocker switch with a finger and hold it there, as soon as you take off the pressure it goes out again. With the rockers switched on in the opposite direction everything works as it should.

How do I make the rocker switch work as it should again please? Will there be a layer of dirt stopping a connection or something which needs tightening to make the right connection again?
