Default Rough idle engine flooding 2006 C70

Has anyone ever had a rough idle that eventually leads to engine flooding on a T5?

I've replaced every single part on the car and have no code but if the car starts it'll run all day. Next day. No start and floods to 30psi compression. Re oil bores and she'll fire up in a cloud of smoke and then clear to rough idle again. It's subtle rough though.

I've more or less written the car off but could the PEM be at fault and give no code? I pulled it out and it looks clean and as new.

When I said I've replaced every part I mean I've replaced every part btw as part of an engine rebuild.

Could a leak on the crank seal cause it?

Software issue?

I feel I've exhausted all avenues bar these three.
