Default V60 2014 d4 vea engine stutter and reduced performance

Hi All

Just joined the problematic d4 vea engine club. Just picked it up from a used car dealer and it went into reduced performance within around 60 miles, and has a pronounced stutter, especially when cold, at around 1500-2000 revs and not very smooth generally. They had changed the O2 sensors prior to sale, so unlikely to be these, so is the next likely culprit the EGR/EGR cooler?

Just wondering whether to get a main dealer diagnostic done before I go to the dealer, I have already logged the fault with them.

Are Volvo still doing any goodwill on fixing the EGR problems?

Took a while to find locally, so would like to keep if it is fixable.

Do dealers have a fixed price for the diagnostic? I understand there is also a compression test involved, does this mean possible valve damage?

Thanks in advance for any advice
