[XC40VolvoProblem]

Thought I would issue an update, the clutch was replaced at a cost of £1600.00. Yes I was made to pay no warranty on clutches (wear and tear) battled it out with Volvo customer services still got nowhere.

We are now 4 months down the line and guess what........ the clutch pedal is getting stuck half way it is not releasing properly.

Volvo assist are due to look at the vehicle I reckon it will get taken away again....... will issue a further update once I know more.

Looking across a few forums I can see that the clutches are going on these XC40's at a low mileage and this is not an isolated incident.

EDIT: and regarding the changing of gears the explanation I received was that the gears were not actually changing it was the digital dashboard malfunctioning s***ing itself was the term used.
