Totally with you there. I hate the "smaller" cars for this very reason.

I also don't like sitting close to the windscreen or indeed the front bumper.

Having that greater distance/crumple zone gives me much more confidence, but I agree with what's been said, it's who actually comes out alive with this test, bot which car has the least damage.

I also think the Volvo damage wise will look nothing compared to the Renault, but the "dummy" of the Renault will survive where as the volvo "dummy" will not having hit the steering wheel and breaking their neck etc.

Trouble is here though most accidents arn't head on, majority are rear impacts and side impacts.
