I paid £7.50 per tyre back in 2021 for new 22" Pirelli's.
Insurance covers any damage and free punctures for the life of the tyre.

This month I had a slow puncture on the OSR.
Back to National tyres and they found the tiniest of punctures unfortunately in the outer tread band that they wouldn't free repair. So it's a warranty replacement claim.
Easy as pie, no arguments, they give discount based on the amount of tread left.

>7mm left then 100% Discount
>6mm left then 80% Discount
>5mm left then 60% Discount
>4mm left then 40% Discount
>3mm left then 25% Discount
>2mm left then 5% Discount
<2mm left then nil

Mine was 80% Discount after 14k miles, plus the insurance continues with the new tyre.
