Hi,

My Volvo XC40 T4 Recharge broke down earlier this week, the engine cut out while driving and then wouldn't start again. It runs fine on electric but when the engine tries to start it just cuts out.

The dealership said the codes sound like a timing issue and today they said they've ordered a new cam belt and guides which will be fitted today.

I was wondering is anyone knows if the 1.5 3-cylinder engine used in the XC40s is an interference engine or not? I'm worried there might be vale damage if there's been timing problems.
